Laleh Rezaei, MD

Board Certified Pediatrician

Laleh Rezaei, MD, FAAP, is a board-certified pediatrician at Complete Pediatrics and Specialty Care located in New Albany, Indiana. Dr. Rezaei began her medical career as an undergraduate student at Macon College in Macon, Georgia where she earned an associate degree in nursing. She continued on to the University of Georgia in Athens where she graduated with a bachelor’s degree in biochemistry.

Prior to enrolling in medical school, Dr. Rezaei worked as a registered nurse in pediatrics, adult intensive care, and open heart unit. She earned her medical degree from the University of Louisville School of Medicine in Louisville, Kentucky, where she went on to complete her residency in pediatrics. She completed Functional Medicine Fellowship course at the Institute of Functional Medicine (IFM) in 2018 and Functional Medicine Academy (FMA) certification program in 2024.

She has a separate Functional Medicine Practice called Rez MD (www.rezmd.org). Dr. Rezaei is a member of several medical professional associations including the American Academy of Pediatrics, the Indiana State Medical Association, and the Kentucky Medical Association. She was awarded the Louisville Business First 2024 Healthcare Hero (website link). She received 2022 Doctor of the Year by Business Leaders and Professionals. She was recognized as 2020 Top Pediatrician. Complete Pediatrics and Speciality Care was awarded “2020 Quality Provider Champion” by Anthem Insurance. Her practice ranked #1 in the state of Indiana. In addition to caring for her patients, Dr. Rezaei is a board member of Floyd Memorial Foundation, involved with the grant committee. She served as Chief of Pediatrics for three consecutive years at Baptist Health Floyd in New Albany. In her spare time she enjoys traveling, gardening, pilates, and spending time with her two sons.

Carley Allen, APRN, CPNP-PC

Carley Allen, APRN, CPNP-PC, is a certified pediatric nurse practitioner. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Southern Indiana. Her registered nurse background is in pediatric intensive care where she fell in love with the pediatric population.

She continued her education at Vanderbilt University where she obtained a Master of Science in Nursing through the primary care pediatric nurse practitioner program. Being a fresh nurse practitioner, she is eager to build a long lasting relationship with her patients and families. Outside of the clinic, she loves to spend time with her husband, Parker, and their fur-babies, Izzy Mae and Winnie. Her nieces, Palmer and Juniper, are her best buddies. She looks forward to serving the community of New Albany.
